How to Archive an Entire YouTube Channel
A step-by-step guide to downloading and organizing complete YouTube channels with TubeArchiver — including playlist handling, quality selection, and duplicate prevention.
Step 1: Paste the channel URL
Copy the URL of any YouTube channel and paste it into TubeArchiver. The app will scan the channel and list every available video, grouped by playlist where applicable.
Step 2: Choose your quality
Select a resolution that fits your storage budget. Free users can download up to 720p, Start plan members get 1440p, and Pro subscribers have access to the full range up to 8K (4320p).
Higher resolutions produce larger files, so consider your available disk space when archiving channels with hundreds of uploads. See our guide on choosing the right video quality for help deciding.
Step 3: Start the download
Hit download and let TubeArchiver work through the queue. Paid plans support multiple concurrent downloads — up to 3 on Start and 5 on Pro — so large channels finish significantly faster. The Pro plan also lets you run TubeArchiver on 2 devices, so you can archive from multiple machines.
You can pause, resume, or cancel individual downloads at any time without losing progress.
Keeping your archive up to date
When a creator uploads new content, simply paste the same channel URL again. TubeArchiver automatically detects videos you've already downloaded and skips them, only fetching new uploads.
This makes it easy to maintain a living archive that grows alongside the channels you follow. You can also download individual playlists if you don't need the entire channel.
